Cookies and privacy settings

What the browser stores and how to manage your choices.

More than cookies

The site uses an authentication cookie, localStorage and sessionStorage. Essential storage enables sign-in and remembers your settings. Optional functions follow your preferences.

Essential storage

gptaid-consent stores version, timestamp and category choices for 180 days. gptaid-theme stores your chosen theme until changed or cleared. gptaid-prompt-draft is a temporary sessionStorage draft removed after transfer to the composer or when the tab session ends. gptaid-session cookie: a secure sign-in session lasting 12 hours, with HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax. gptaid-selected-model stores the selected model for the tab session.

Optional features

IP city lookup starts only with optional-feature permission. ipwho.is receives the public request IP. gptaid-city-ru/en stores only the city and expiry, not the full IP, for up to one hour within the tab session. Refusal or withdrawal stops new lookups.

Analytics

Yandex Metrika (counter 112678537) loads only with analytics consent. It collects public-page visits, navigation and browser technical information. Workspace, conversation and payment form content is not sent; session recording is disabled. Typical cookies include _ym_uid and _ym_d for up to one year, and _ym_isad for 20 hours. Withdrawal stops new events.

Change your choice

Open Cookie settings in the footer or use the button on this page. Accept all, keep essential only or choose categories. Optional categories start off. Refusal does not block the site or documents.

Duration and scope

The banner returns after 180 days or a settings-version update. The choice applies to this browser and device. If storage is blocked, it applies in the open tab and the site displays a notice.

Referral and sign-in cookies

gptaid-ref stores the first referral code for up to 30 days. The social sign-in cookie lasts up to 10 minutes and protects the sign-in flow.
